KDL New Phone Interpreting Service
Kent District Library now offers live phone interpreting services in more than 200 languages, ensuring greater access to its collections, programs and services. Through the new over-the-phone service, patrons who speak languages other than English are now able to connect with KDL staff members.
Literacy Center of West Michigan
The Literacy Center works alongside immigrants, refugees, native speakers of English, and anyone else looking to improve their reading and writing. The Literacy Center offers free English instruction – in both a classroom setting and with a one-on-one literacy coach – that is focused on the areas of life most important to learners: their family, their work, and their community.
